DeafMaps is a collaborative market research project led by Impact Mind LLC. The maps show hearing difficulty, potential ASL users, and interpreting coverage for schools, nonprofits, agencies, and community groups.
Collaborators and sponsors
Impact Mind LLC is looking for collaborators and sponsors. A fiscal partner would hold sponsorship funds, apply for grants, and share accountability with the communities the maps describe. Sponsorship keeps the maps current and pays for research with schools, nonprofits, and community groups.

Tradeoffs
- Sponsorship is project support paid to Impact Mind LLC while a nonprofit fiscal partner is being arranged
- The public Census methods and the organization list stay with the project
- Repository access is for collaboration on the maps. Ownership of the project stays with Impact Mind LLC
- A partner dashboard is arranged with the sponsor after they join, when they want one
- Collaborators share accountability with the communities the maps describe
